Cinematic study / 04

A world comes apart.

A slower collision, a quiet camera pivot, and the weight of pulverized rock. Compare the added dust and debris with the previous impact pass.

Follow the breakup

Three two-second windows, at native crop resolution. Before is on the left, the dust pass on the right. These close-ups are silent.

What changed

Dark mineral dust releases along breaking edges. Smaller chips follow tighter paths around the heavy fragments, with sparse hot grains that cool as they travel. Rebound bursts originate at the contact edge.

The eight-second timing, anchored camera pivot, star framing, rock materials, lighting and music remain the same. The completed 4K scene is preserved.

Still being refined

Some large fragment faces still read as planar, and individual dust puffs can remain distinct. The dust motion is art directed; small grains collide with the planet proxy, but do not resolve collisions with every other fragment. This pass is ready for review, not final approval.
